Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering & Operations leader to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and lead R&D efforts for new product development. This role requires a strong background in CNC Swiss and Milling programming, quoting, and operational management to enhance efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Engineering Management:



  • Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Lead engineering teams in developing innovative solutions and process improvements.
  • Manage production workflows, optimize resource allocation, and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.


CNC Programming & Quoting:



  • Program and optimize CNC Swiss and Milling machines for precision manufacturing.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates and quotes for new and existing projects.
  • Evaluate machining processes to reduce cycle times and improve part quality.
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine programs.
  • Oversee daily progress of CNC programmers to ensure alignment with company objectives.


Research & Development (R&D):



  • Lead R&D efforts for new product development and process innovations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept to production.
  • Implement new manufacturing technologies and techniques to enhance capabilities.


Continuous Improvement & Innovation:



  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Train and mentor employees on best practices and new technologies.



Must Have:



  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Extensive experience in CNC Swiss and Milling programming.
  • Proven expertise in operations management, quoting, and process optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with CAD/CAM software, ERP systems, and CNC programming tools.



Good to have:



  • Experience with multi-axis CNC machines and automation technologies.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, material properties, and machining strategies.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive company-wide improvements.



Competitive market salary from $140000 to 170000 per year depending on qualifications and experience
