Purpose of the Job

The Loan Activation and Accounts Receivables Support role assists in the loan activation process, assisting with documentation, verifications, and communications with clients. Additionally, the role provides support in managing accounts receivables, including invoice processing, reconciliations, and addressing customer inquiries.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Assists in the loan activation process by reviewing loan applications, verifying information, and ensuring accuracy in loan documentation.
  • Collaborates with underwriting and sales teams to gather necessary information and documentation for loan approvals.
  • Monitors loan pipelines, track progress, and update relevant systems and databases accordingly.
  • Processes payments, reconcile accounts, and manage accounts receivables activities.
  • Generates and distributes reports related to loan activation, accounts receivables, and payment processing.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and resolve issues related to loan activations and accounts receivables in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assists with data entry, document filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Follows company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all loan activation and accounts receivables activities.
  • Participates in training programs and continuous learning opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Stays updated on industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes related to loan processing and premium finance.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists with other tasks and projects as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must have excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Must have ability to understand all business processes within the credit union
  • Must be resourceful and well organized, with strong attention to detail
  • Must have good reasoning abilities and sound judgment
  • Must be able to work in a general office environment
  • Must be flexible and able to shift resources and priorities as required
  • Must pay attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Must have ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Must have willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs and processes.

Physical Requirements

  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and stooping required
  • Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
  • Must be able to moderately lift or move up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds

Education and Background

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in loan processing, accounts receivables, or related roles preferred
