The Opportunity

We are seeking an Audio-Visual Junior Technical Specialist to join our Firm. This individual will provide audio visual services and support firmwide. This shift will take place 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

  • Provides audio visual support through timely and accurate setup, operation and break down of audio-visual hardware and software, such as: small to large audio visual systems, projectors, video monitors, computers, sound systems, digital signage, presentations, various web conference clients and etc.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots audio visual equipment; makes minor repairs and arranges for repair and equipment service.
  • Assists with minor edits of in-house produced video recordings.
  • Writes and maintains technical documentation and the Firm's database.
  • Assists with technology support, conference services, and facilities as needed.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.
  • Provides a high level of client service.
  • Performs frequent physical exertion including: walking, pushing, pulling, repetitive use of both hands, lifting or carrying up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
  • Manages Firm resources responsibly.
  • Complies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Firm operation, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of audio and video production equipment, techniques and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of web conferencing clients, such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and video conferencing equipment.
  • Knowledge of presentations programs and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of audio and video editing software and digital signage software.
  • Experience with AV control systems, such as Crestron, Atlona, Extron and etc.
  • Updates and maintains knowledge current for all AV related technologies.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions.
  • Demonstrates close attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
  • Flexibility to travel [If applicable].

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience

The starting base salary for this position is expected to be within the range listed under Salary Details. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other-job related factors, consistent with applicable law.

Salary Details

$65,000 - $70,000
