Job Summary

The ECE Department is seeking applications for an adjunct instructor position to teach classes in renewable power and energy systems. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, with outstanding academic and/or industrial credentials. The lectures are taught in a face-to-face setting, and so the successful candidate must be available to teach on campus. Classes are held during the day.

Essential Functions

• Knowledge of current major electric power sources and the pressures that are forcing a transition to renewable sources.
• Expert knowledge in wind and solar energy and their integration into the overall power grid.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Ph.D. or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related subject, preferably with a specialization in Power Systems and Engineering.
