Required Qualifications: (as evidenced by an attached resume) * Doctoral Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Health Sciences or a closely related field. * Experience studying and measuring exercise, physical activity, balance performance, and sensory functioning in adults with or without pathology. * Experience with fall prevention programs. * Experience working with large research databases. * Mastery of Excel & Statistical software packages like (STATA, SPSS, MatLab and/or R). Preferred Qualifications: * Strong publication history (3 or more 1st author papers). * Experience writing internal or external grant applications. * History of attending and presenting at scientific conferences. * Interested in learning how to collect, analyze and interpret quantitative gait, multisensory integration, and electrophysiological measurements. * Experience working with our older adult participants. Brief Description of Job Duties: * Collect and analyze data, including periodical/literature search and utilizing specialized skills in related field to analyze data collection * Participate/assist in manuscript writing for publication in scientific journals * Internal/external grant application submissions * Lab maintenance, including equipment maintenance and ordering of supplies as needed * Other duties assigned, which may include attending various Scientific Conferences and meetings Special Notes: Visit The Office of Postdoctoral Affairs to learn more about our postdoctoral community.
