Shipping Clerk

Danfoss has an immediate opportunity for a Shipping/Receiving Clerkto join us at our diverse team in Easley, SC.Backup role to the Senior Shipping/Receiving Clerk.Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Shipping/Receiving department focusing on being point of contact for all export shipments and responsible for all booking procedures. Point of Contact for all shipping "documentation" issues

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Complete with accuracy all Brazil export documents to ensure freight is delivered in a timely manner
• prepare export documents for international shipments
• Fill-in as needed on the shop floor (UPS, truck, receiving, packaging operations with a primary role at truck station)
• Resolve any held-up international shipments
• Provide proof of deliveries (POD's) when required
• Assist in managing record retention to remain compliant to SOX certification
• Act as point of contact to all freight forwarders with international/domestic shipments when required
• Book shipments on-line as required
• Operate fork-lift when required

• High School Diploma/GED
• Computer Skills and good communication skills
• Must have 3-5 years of Logistics experience
