Hourly: $24.00 Undergraduate / $26.00 Graduate Level: Intern

Internship Program

The internship program aims to offer a positive work/training experience aligned with career goals and education level. Interns will be part of the Electrical Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in office and field settings and actively contributing to client projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure, including visits to project sites and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events.

Schedule

The Summer Internship lasts 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the candidate's availability.

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Lighting Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in lighting design, planning, and implementation for a variety of projects. You will work closely with our experienced designers and engineers to bring lighting concepts to life.

Responsibilities:

* Assist in developing lighting design concepts and presentations

* Conduct research on lighting products, trends, and technologies

* Support the preparation of lighting calculations and photometric analysis

* Collaborate with the design team to produce drawings, renderings, and technical documentation

* Participate in site visits, project meetings, and client presentations

* Assist in the selection of lighting fixtures and materials

* Perform administrative tasks related to project documentation and organization

Qualifications:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

* Basic knowledge of lighting design principles and techniques

* Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite

* Familiarity with lighting calculation software (e.g., AGi32, Visual) is a plus

* Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

* Attention to detail and a passion for lighting design

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
