UVMHN's current cloud suite consists of Microsoft 365 (M365) and Azure offerings. Desired skill sets particular to M365:
Leadership No supervisory responsibilities. May provide guidance in relation to onboarding and skill-development of employees. Job Related Responsibilities Monitoring: Monitor cloud and hybrid systems for issues. Communication, troubleshooting, and resolution of identified issues. Workflow design and management: Contribute to the design, deployment, and management of cloud and hybrid services & resources for applications and workflows. Incident management and resolution: Respond to incidents and outages. Coordinate with IT teams, leadership, customers, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve cloud and hybrid-related issues. Routine updates: Track and implement routine updates to the hybrid environment. Plan for announced changes in the cloud environments. Performance Optimization: Monitor cloud systems and address performance bottlenecks or issues. Coordinate outages related to vendor planned downtimes. Migration projects: Contribute to cloud/hybrid migration projects. Security design: Incorporate a 'security first' principle with all design efforts. Disaster recovery: Ensure best practices for data management and backups. Efficiency: Optimize cloud and hybrid infrastructure for performance and security. Provide cost considerations to IT leadership for review. Guidance: Provide guidance on cloud security, compliance, and governance to IT colleagues and customers. Core Job Related Skills Advanced knowledge of cloud enterprise architectures and management tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities utilizing analytic and strategic thinking. Knowledgeable in cloud enterprise security and compliance standards (e.g. TLS, HIPAA, SAML, MFA, CIS Benchmarks, etc.) Experiencein scripting and low/no-code solutionswith the ability to design, build, test, and deploy automated and customized workflows. Ability to build Enterprise Applications and Application Registrations, as well as troubleshoot existing applications. Time management and communication skills. Ability to implement scalable solutions from small scale automated processes. Basic understanding of hybrid environments. Proficiency in data recovery and workflow continuity planning, with availability for after-hours project go-lives as required. Basic understanding of certificate issuance and implementation.
