Food Service Worker - Dishwasher 32 Hour

Key Details:
Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other weekend (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
Primary Responsibilities: Dishwashing, food service, and sanitation
Patient Care Required? No
Essential Responsibilities:
Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions as assigned.
Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and department equipment.
Follow HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) food safety and sanitation standards.
Work in various kitchen positions, with a primary focus on dishwashing, cleaning dishes, carts, pots, and pans.
Retrieve trays from patient rooms.
Clean stations, equipment, and floors at the end of each meal.
Operate dish machines, trash compactors, and perform mopping as needed.
Complete assigned sanitation projects as directed by the manager.
Assist in training and cross-training of employees.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

- Must be able to read menu items in English (exception is the pot-washer position).
- Must be able to communicate in English (exception is the pot-washer position).
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Work requires ability to push trucks and carts with food and supplies.
