Key Details:
Primary Responsibilities: Food preparation, tray assembly, and maintaining cleanliness.
Patient Care Required? No
Essential Responsibilities:
Attend department meetings, in-services, and training sessions.
Provide excellent customer service and address customer needs.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
Follow HACCP food safety standards.
Set up and stock food stations for meal service.
Assemble patient trays and deliver them to patient rooms.
Clean stations, equipment, and floors after each meal.
Operate dish machines, trash compactors, and mop floors as needed.
Prepare additional food items for the patient tray line.
Complete sanitation projects as assigned by the manager.
Assist in training new employees and cross-training team members.
Support department goals to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

- Must be able to read menu items in English (exception is the pot-washer position).
- Must be able to communicate in English (exception is the pot-washer position).
- Must be able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Work requires ability to push trucks and carts with food and supplies.
