About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Specialist to serve for our U.S. operations with specific expertise in the Dassault DELMIA Apriso platform. This role involves functioning at an specialist level for all Center of Excellence (COE) activities related to everything manufacturing ensuring flawless execution across multiple manufacturing systems and integrations.

As a key member of the manufacturing operations team, the MES Specialist will not only be responsible for the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the DELMIA Apriso system but will also play a vital role in the integration of diverse operational technologies including factory management, building management, Artificial Intelligence, and large-scale data analytics. The specialist will liaise between multiple internal departments and our global teams, ensuring system harmonization, operational excellence, and strategic alignment with our organizational goals.

What You Will Do

System Design

  • Serve as the MES Specialist for Manufacturing Execution Systems, specifically focusing on Dassault DELMIA Apriso.
  • Ability to provide functional and technical solutions based on requirements
  • Participate at an architect level for all COE functions related to DELMIA Apriso, formulating and implementing best practices across departments.

System Development & Deployment

  • Lead the planning, design, configuration, and deployment of the Dassault DELMIA Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
  • Conduct gap analysis between existing systems and DELMIA Apriso to ensure full functional coverage and system integrity.

Application and Systems Integration

  • Work on projects involving integration with SAP and other peripheral systems.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between Apriso MES and external systems.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Lead root-cause analysis for any DELMIA Apriso system issues, liaising with vendors and internal IT teams for prompt resolution.
  • Working with Global Development Team to develop Long- term fix.
  • Incident Management, Problem Management and SLA Management

Change & Release Management

  • Co-ordination with Dev/ Release teams for code release /break fix
  • Support deployment of code release/break fix if requested by plant team.
  • Support Production Sanity Testing if requested by the plant team.

Interdepartmental Collaboration

  • Work closely with business management and users to strategically define the needs and deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Engage closely with factory and building management teams to harmonize systems and data flow, ensuring efficient and streamlined operations.

Training & Documentation

  • Develop comprehensive training programs and manuals to onboard new team members and keep existing staff updated on DELMIA Apriso system modifications.

Traceability & Compliance

  • Implement and monitor robust traceability measures within DELMIA Apriso.
  • Ensure all data is getting tracked for manufactured items in compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports to track system performance metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications
What You Need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
  • Min 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems, with a specific focus on Dassault DELMIA Apriso.
  • Knowledge of ISA 95 Architecture and MES modules
  • Strong Exposure to MES implementations - architecting and implementing - including automation, production monitoring and execution, quality planning and execution
  • Experience in design and development of global template and managing COE master server
  • Good knowledge of working on Process Builder, SQL - Scripts, Stored procedure, Functions.
  • Involved in identifying and resolution of performance issues in Apriso and in the database
  • Understanding of Apriso data model and Apriso process builder framework
  • Experience in Business Integrator or middleware for integration with SAP and other enterprise applications
  • Experience in Machine Integrator configurations, testing and troubleshooting issues
  • Experience in Apriso upgrade will be good
  • Experience in using Apriso GPM tool for deployment
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and support methodologies
