JOB TITLE Institutional Effectiveness Program Manager JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Program Manager of Institutional Effectiveness supports the university's strategic initiatives by managing assessment, accreditation, and continuous improvement efforts. This role ensures compliance with accreditation and reporting standards while promoting a culture of data-informed decision-making and institutional effectiveness. This position reports to the Vice Provost.

Responsibilities:

Institutional Effectiveness & Strategic Support
*Assist in developing and implementing institutional effectiveness plans aligned with strategic goals.
*Support data-driven decision-making to improve institutional performance and student success.
*Contribute to strategic planning efforts and institutional accreditation compliance.

Assessment & Accreditation Compliance
*Coordinate academic and administrative assessment processes to ensure continuous improvement.
*Support accreditation efforts by preparing reports and maintaining compliance with accrediting bodies (e.g., SACSCOC, HLC, ABET).
*Assist in the development and execution of institutional self-studies and accreditation site visits.

Data Management & Institutional Research
*Collect, analyze, and report institutional data to support planning, assessment, and accreditation.
*Support data submissions to external agencies (e.g., IPEDS, state higher education boards).
*Develop dashboards and reports for leadership to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
*Facilitate the development and implementation of assessment tools to measure student learning outcomes.
*Provide guidance on using assessment results for program and institutional improvement.
*Support the integration of assessment findings into strategic decision-making.

Collaboration & Training
*Work with faculty, staff, and administrators to enhance institutional effectiveness initiatives
*Provide training on assessment methodologies, accreditation processes, and institutional research best practices.
*Serve as a resource for university leadership on data-driven decision-making. JOB DESCRIPTION

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in higher education administration, educational research, statistics, public administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in institutional effectiveness, assessment, accreditation, or institutional research in a higher education setting.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and compliance reporting (e.g., SACSCOC, HLC, ABET).
  • Familiarity with data analysis, statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R), and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • In lieu of a degree, any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning and institutional performance measurement.
  • Knowledge of best practices in learning assessment and pedagogy.
  • Familiarity with federal and state higher education policies and reporting requirements.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a higher education environment.

  • Strong project management and analytical skills.
  • Higher education accreditation standards, assessment practices, and institutional research methodologies.
  • Federal and state higher education reporting requirements.
  • Data governance and best practices in data management.
  • Data analysis, interpretation, and visualization for institutional decision-making.
  • Effective project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, particularly in report preparation and presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and senior leadership.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights for institutional improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that support institutional effectiveness and student success.

REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF LAW:

This position requires a criminal background check, which may include a Level II screening as required by Florida Statute *435.04.
This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: This position is salary exempt. The normal work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; however, occasional overtime (weekends and evenings) may be required.

TARGET HIRING SALARY: $59,500 - $65,000, commensurate with experience.
