Summary

RiverStone Resources, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Manchester, NH. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting various human resources functions, including but not limited to human resources policies, programs, and services, including talent acquisition, retention, diversity and inclusion, employee benefits, performance management, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, employee communications, and employee events. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks and work effectively in a dynamic environment. The candidate chosen will have strong experience in reporting and analytics, a bias for action, the ability to form and maintain positive, professional relationships in all areas of the organization, and overarching experience in Human Resources operations.

Essential Functions

HR Administration

  • Maintain employee records, manage the HR system, and generate reports as needed.
  • Handle any administrative tasks such as contracts, documentation, and offboarding.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees who may have employment-related inquiries connecting them with the most appropriate resource.
  • Manage and maintain a repository of employee relations communications and tools that are used by the HR team in communication with employees and managing their job details (e.g. comp, hours, title, etc.).
  • Oversee that the employee handbook is kept current. This may include the drafting, updating, and implementation of HR policies and guidelines.
  • Champion employee recognition and reward programs.

Talent Management

  • Assist in the coordination of training communications and logistics as needed to support the training needs of employees.
  • Help support and coordinate any new or evergreen talent management initiatives such as stay interviews, exit interviews, and the mentor program.
  • Support the Performance Management process by helping with communications, reporting and tracking, and answering questions employees or managers may have.
  • Ensure compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training or continuing education by creating review and tracking processes and tools.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Assist in the maintenance and tracking of job descriptions (JDs) for each associate at RiverStone.
  • Assist in the coordination of interviews and track interview feedback/evaluations.
  • Assist in ensuring background checks, employment verifications, references, and new hire paperwork are completed.
  • Aid with preparation of in-person and virtual new hire orientation.

Comp/Benefits/Payroll

  • Become familiar with RiverStone's suite of benefit offerings to provide tier 1 support to employees and managers who may have questions regarding their Benefits.
  • Assist with ensuring any job-related changes (hours, title, comp, manager) outside of cyclical activities such as the merit and IPF process are approved, communicated, entered in HR systems, and documented within the employee file.
  • Assist the comp/benefits/payroll team with data audits as needed to support the team's efforts to stay compliant with labor laws, regulations, and company standards.

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage time efficiently and manage ambiguity & change with ease.
  • Strong attention to detail skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes and solutions to complex problems and scenarios.
  • Ability to create solid relationships and provide positive experiences for internal partners, including senior leadership.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with HRIS and Performance Management Systems preferred.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources with a focus on employee relations.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience in Human Resources or related field.

Preferred Education or Certification

PHR or SHRM-CP or ability to obtain one of these certifications within the first year of employment.

Work Environment / Physical Demands

This position operates in a professional, collaborative environment and must have the ability to timely produce thorough, accurate work with many competing demands, deadlines, and distractions. The position uses standard equipment such as phones, computers, copiers/printers and filing cabinets. Noise level is moderate.
