RN, Per Diem - Westwood Operating Room

Under minimal supervision, function primarilyas a scrub and/or circulating nurse within the Main Operating Room.Administrative and teaching responsibilities to be performed as necessary,including inventory, instrument set-ups and chart reviews. Implementappropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basis, relevant to anoperating room arena. Function as a member of a team. Inherent duties include,but are not limited to, the proper care of instrumentation and equipment,utilization of all safety measures and the accurate completion of alldocumentation

Salary range: $87.47-$87.47 Hourly

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,current active California RN licensure and clinical skills applicable tonursing specialty, OR.

Writing skills to accurately document the operativeprocedure with all interventions; i.e., drug and supply dispensing, equipmentmeasurements and team member presence.

Skills in setting priorities, organizingworkload effectively and integrating multiple assignments with multilevelpersonnel.

Skill in speaking the English language with excellentmedical/surgical terminology.

Ability to comply with department standardsinclusive of: attendance, dress code and varied work schedule.

Must pass a postoffer physical.

Circulate and scrub experience in an OR required.

Cardiac ORexperience desired.

BSN required.
