Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor's degree (foreign equivalent or higher degree). Three (3) years of full-time experience in one or more of the following areas: academic or student services in an educational setting, marketing and communication, admissions or enrollment. Experience with content creation including copywriting and editing. Experience coordinating communication campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (foreign equivalent or higher) in a related field. Familiarity or understanding of a CRM or email software, such as Slate, Salesforce, or Hubspot. Experience with email marketing campaigns, using social media, print and digital media, from creation to execution. Understanding of graphic design software such as Photoshop and InDesign.

Brief Description of Duties:
The Senior Assistant of Enrollment Communications position will help to support the Enrollment Management division with a broad range of professional administrative duties as they relate to enrollment communications and admissions recruitment. This person will work closely with Undergraduate Admissions, Marketing and Communications, and Enrollment Management to create engaging digital and print content to connect with prospective and admitted students, and to assess communication campaigns effectiveness. The ability to write content that is clear, concise, and creative that appeals to multiple audiences is key for this position. This role uses interpersonal and organizational skills as well as an exceptional attention to detail to ensure projects are completed both timely and accurately. Essential for this role is the adeptness to work collaboratively to solve problems, assess strategy, and think creatively and critically. This position is responsible for assisting Enrollment Management with a broad range of responsibilities in support of undergraduate-related design projects, print, email, and text communications, as well as some social media campaigns.

Duties:



  • Work on various projects and initiatives that support admissions, including working closely with Undergraduate Admissions and Enrollment Communications to ensure timely updates to web, email communications, and print publications.
  • Create and assess campaigns for targeted populations to support recruitment and yield efforts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date enrollment communications calendar to ensure completion and approval of all enrollment-related communications.
  • Assist with admissions and external department communications and outreach, specifically related to electronic, print, and web communications. This includes reviewing content, grammar, design, and keeping up brand guidelines.
  • Work within our communications system, specifically Slate CRM, to program emails using HTML and CSS, build filters ensuring accurate delivery in partnership with admissions operations, and create engaging copy and visuals. Build accurate forms and update portal pages.
  • Assist Enrollment Communications team with the reporting and analysis of outreach, campaigns, and website strategy.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, when appropriate, coordinate meetings and events, research data for reports, prepare meeting agendas, draft letters, research information, compose reports and oversee related distribution.
  • Attend admissions related events such as Admitted Student Day and Open Houses.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned as appropriate to rank and department mission.



Special notes: This is a full-time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption.

In addition to the employee's base salary, this position is eligible for $3,400 UUP annual location pay, paid biweekly.
