We are looking for a dedicated Groundskeeper to join our team at a school located in Charleston, SC. This direct-hire opportunity is for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.

Pay rate: $19 - $23 per hour

Schedule: 6:30am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:



  • Maintain school grounds, including lawns, athletic fields, plantings, trees, and paved areas using hand or power tools and equipment.
  • Support special events by setting up tables, chairs, tents, and performing post-event grounds maintenance.
  • Safely operate all landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
  • Follow department rules as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Grounds Manager, Plant Manager, or Director of Facilities.




Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance or landscape construction.
  • Valid SC Driver's license and acceptable MVR (motor vehicle record).
  • High School Diploma preferred but not required.
