Overview
World Wildlife Fund (WWF), one of the world's leading conservation organizations, seeks a Lead Specialist, Azure Data Solutions. Major Function The Lead Specialist, Azure Data Solutions is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions using Azure services. This role involves collaborating with others to develop data models and pipelines, integrating various data sources, and ensuring data quality and integrity. The specialist also creates and manages Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights, optimizes data solutions for performance and reliability, and stays updated with the latest Azure data services and best practices. Salary:The expected compensation range for this position is $126,600 to $181,900 Please note: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Designs, implements, and maintains data solutions using Azure services, including Azure Data Fabric.
Collaborates with data engineers and architects to develop data models and data pipelines. Supports the integration of various data sources into Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL Database. Develops and maintains ETL processes using Azure Data Factory. Creates and manages Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights. Ensures data quality and integrity through data validation and cleansing processes. Monitors and optimizes data solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability. Provides technical support and troubleshooting for data-related issues. Identifies opportunities to enhance Azure data services and stay current with the latest data services and best practices. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field MUST HAVE:
Experience with Power BI OR Tableau for data visualization and reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; ability to communicate difficult concepts, new technology, and new ways of working. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. A self-starter that brings the energy and resilience to continually drive improvements and change. Preferred
Experience with other Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks. Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R. Understanding of data warehousing and big data concepts. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
