Responsibilities

Data Entry Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Input data from all departments into our system

  • Prepares daily, weekly, and special reports for upper management of National Beef Packing

  • Participates in the dual check program on all data received, double checking all data on records before inputting into the system; information not present or incorrect is identified, reported and corrected

  • Assists in the proper filing, storage, and retention of laboratory documents and records

  • Works with laboratory management on resolving customer complaints and issues

  • Order supplies as needed, assist with inventory tracking and maintain chemical inventory log, supply database and distribution of supplies to departments

  • Maintains the approved vendor list, pricing changes, vendor reviews while serving as a point of contact for suppliers and warehouse

  • Perform weekly and quarterly inventory audits and aides in the easement of quarterly accreditation management reviews

  • Assist with the investigation process for maintaining traceability of supplies

  • Assist in the pulling and issuing of reports when administrator is not available

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the laboratory management staff

This is a safety sensitive position. This is not a remote position.



Qualifications

Qualified Candidates for the Laboratory Data Entry Clerk position should possess the following:

  • 1-year experience in data entry

  • Proficient in all major Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, Power-Point) as well working with PDF files

  • Good written/oral communication skills in English

  • Self-Starter and Team Player

  • Ability to handle multi-tasking and be detail oriented

  • Excellent organizational skills- Time management skills are a must

  • Excellent customer service skills with all levels- Upper management, Vendors, and production employees

  • Must be willing to be cross trained in many facets of laboratory work
