Office of Human Resources Job Description
The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Human Resources to join our HR team. This role is pivotal in providing exemplary HR leadership and services to campus stakeholders, developing and implementing HR strategies and processes, and ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. The ideal candidate will have experience in talent acquisition, compensation, and office operations. In addition, the ideal candidate will have experience serving as an HR partner. We are seeking a colleague who will contribute to a thriving campus community dedicated to excellence and innovation in HR practices. Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Strategic Planning
Policy Explanation and Training (20%)
Process Oversight and Improvement
Resource Coordination
Senior HR Partner Services
Other Duties as Assigned Shift
8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday with occasional evenings and weekends; On-site role Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 6 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
