JOB PURPOSE:

The Service Coordinator will assess client needs and connect them with the right resources and providers. Creates and maintains a directory of service providers and resources, and a database of client's needs or commonly requested services. The Service Coordinator is also the initial contact for customers and community partners. Possesses strong customer service skills to facilitate the building and maintaining of relationships with all stakeholders. Supports the Community Housing Assistance Program and the leadership of the program through various administrative functions, and maintains documents, internal databases, and organization records. Provides excellent customer service to all individuals who contact Endeavors for services. Acts as a community service resource specialist connecting clients to services.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Answer phone calls and return all messages by the end of the business day or within 1 business day:

    • Connect customers to services in the community.
    • Track customer calls and services requested.
    • Communicate with service providers and community stakeholders.
    • Create and maintain a community service provider database and provide information to participants and the community at large.


  • Perform administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner:

    • o Type, print, and proofread documents.
    • Photocopy and fax materials.
    • Maintain program and client files.
    • Maintain databases.




  • Assist in obtaining funding and compliance with current funding sources.

    • Assist in gathering data for grant applications.
    • Maintain grant files.




  • Oversee areas of Financial/Budget Responsibility:

    • Office Supplies; make recommendations, ensure approvals are received, order and distribute.


  • Perform periodic administrative duties in a timely and accurate manner:

    • Complete other program reports as needed.
    • Run program errands - as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

  • Exemplify a customer service attitude by placing the child, parent, family or lodge member first with every action taken to support our vision "That the most at-risk within our communities, children and those with chronic mental illness, have a real opportunity for a different and better tomorrow."


ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree.

EXPERIENCE: 1+ years strong administrative/clerical experience, 3+ years preferred; 2+ years in a customer service focused environment; social service and/or non-profit experience preferred.

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates. Must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others.
