The Opportunity

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team in shaping the future of the product. In this role, you will drive cross-functional collaboration and champion engineering excellence to develop scalable and impactful solutions for users worldwid`e.

What you'll Do
  • Lead and develop a creative and hardworking engineering team passionate about delivering delightful user experiences
  • Collaborate with product management and design teams to define and refine the user experience, product roadmap, priorities, and development schedule
  • Own the product development lifecycle, identifying risks and opportunities while ensuring transparency to leadership
  • Attract, hire, onboard, and retain talent, encouraging a culture mentorship, professional development, and ongoing feedback
  • Make data-driven decisions at a rapid pace, balancing analytics with intuition to drive product and team success
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and shared accomplishments, ensuring a positive and engaging work environment
What you need to succeed
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in software engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years managing software engineering teams
  • Strong technical expertise in modern web technologies such as Node, React, GraphQL or similar
  • Experience in developing and maintaining large-scale, high-traffic web applications and distributed systems using technologies and platforms like AWS, Docker, Kubernetes or similar
  • Proven ability to lead agile teams, manage projects, and drive successful product development
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a data-driven and customer-centric approach
  • Experience with high-volume eCommerce platforms is a plus, particularly in areas like SEO, customer acquisition and engagement, or collaboration features
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $143,700 -- $289,900 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
