Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Editorial/Media Specialist II for the School of Nursing. The Marketing Coordinator will be pivotal in supporting the School of Nursing's marketing and communications efforts. This hybrid role combines graphic design, social media management, content creation, website management, and general marketing support to enhance the school's digital presence and branding initiatives.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Works closely with the marketing and communications team, this individual will bring creativity, organization, and strategic thinking to various projects targeting students, faculty, staff, alumni, and external stakeholders.
- Content Creation and Website Support.
- Social Media Strategy and Management.
- Graphic Design and Brand Development.
- General Marketing and Administrative Support.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree (in progress or earned) in marketing, journalism, graphic design, or a related field; or equivalent education and experience.

Certifications/Licenses |

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite).
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva/Adobe Express.
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Knowledge of website content management systems (e.g., WordPress and Drupal) and basic coding (HTML, CSS).
- Strong organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.

- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Experience with video and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Canva).
