Assistant Mortgage Processing Supervisor

The Assistant Mortgage Processing Supervisor serves as a the Subject Matter Expert for all loan Processors to ensure new mortgage loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures.

• Performs a variety of duties both clerical and technical; major responsibilities included coordinating the processing of mortgage loans following application, through preparation of loan documents for closing
• Collaborates with the Processing Supervisor to review, update and communicate workflow changes to the team and assist in team meetings
• Serve as a liaison between processing team and the Processing Supervisor assisting with and providing guidance on issues problems with files
• Monitors production pipeline and manages turn times, target closing dates, staffing, capacity, etc
• Serves as a training and mentor to processing staff and trainees
• Researches and resolves advanced processing/customer issues for the processing team
• Serves as a backup to the Loan Opener to receive and review all new loan submissions for completeness and accuracy and assigns new loan submissions to processing team
• Serves as backup to the Processing Supervisor in their absence by processing their files and leading the processing team

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5 years Loan Processing

Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Word; basic keyboarding and calculator skills; must be able to do simple math and carry out written instructions
• Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
• Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs
