The Supply Chain Supervisor at our Frankfort Plant! Qualified candidates must be able to work out of our Frankfort, IN facility. In this role, you and your team will lead end-to-end supply chain operations for one of Donaldson's flagship manufacturing plants. You will supervise and improve workflows in areas including production planning, material purchasing, order management, inventory managementand logistics. You will collaborate closely with relevant functional areas and interdisciplinary teams, both within and outside the facility, to foster alignment and achieve shared goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight to a team, ensuring the effective execution of workflows, driving process improvements, and resolving operational challenges in a timely manner.

  • Lead and inspire your team by actively participating in mentoring, performance evaluations, career development initiatives, and rewards programs to drive team engagement and performance.

  • Supervise salaried professionals and/or hourly operational employees in the areas of Scheduling, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Shipping/Receiving.

  • Lead Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand forecast and supply plan, improvingcustomer service levels and cost efficiency across the supply chain.

  • Manage production capacity utilization, including resource planning and overtime scheduling, to meet production timelines and ensure labor efficiency.

  • Oversee procurement, transportation, and warehousing of goods, ensuring material availability to support production goals while optimizing inventory utilization and carrying costs.

  • Monitor supplier performance and manage businessrelationships, to maintain timely material delivery and execute supplier projects.

  • Drive initiatives to maintain a safe work environment, actively supporting plant Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs to ensure compliance and employee safety.

  • Engage with sales teams to align supply chain strategies with business objectives, ensuring customer needs are met effectively.

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with critical customers, ensuring open communication to address needs, resolve issues, and improve overall experience.

  • Consistently achieve results in key performance metrics, includingcustomer on-time delivery and inventory turns, contributing to the company's operational excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma and 5 years of equivalent work experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in inventory control, production planning, purchasing and/or procurement in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience with Oracle or ERP systems

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve results through fostering collaboration, effective coaching, and team-oriented approach to decision making.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and to impact decisions within and outside own organization.

  • Analytical minded and strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
