Summary:

The Director of Prospect Strategy & Research is responsible for supporting and guiding the fundraising efforts of MaineHealth Philanthropy and leading a team to conduct research, categorize prospects and donors contribute to the accuracy of the CMS for effective donor management. The Director assigns prospects to philanthropy officers and leaders and assists in planning donor strategies and priorities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in philanthropy including experience with relational databases and spreadsheets.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Experience with donor research and planning. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple, complex, fundraising activities simultaneously. Exceptional organizational and verbal skills. Ability to initiate work, operate independently and meet deadlines. Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office.
