Position Summary

A Donning Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving targets, and expanding business within an assigned geographic region. This role focuses on developing new client relationships while maintaining and growing an existing book of business. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Sales Manager, the Sales Representative must be a highly motivated, results-driven team player dedicated to identifying opportunities, introducing products and services, and ensuring long-term client success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Account Growth & Business Development: Responsible for fostering relationships with existing and prospective accounts to expand the book of business year-over-year. Identify and develop new client opportunities to grow the account base.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and nurture strong relationships within our key markets to drive sales growth and long-term partnerships.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring high-quality service and prompt resolution of issues beyond customer service. Maintain strong, long-term relationships by delivering targeted solutions and new business opportunities.
  • Sales & Estimating: Provide estimates, follow up on bids, and coordinate production-related activities, including press checks and plant tours, as required by customers.
  • Customer Service & Retention: Act as the face of Donning, ensuring a seamless customer experience, addressing credit issues, and resolving concerns efficiently. Enhance the company's reputation by providing reliable and timely service.
  • Travel & On-Site Engagement: Travel as needed, in alignment with personal expense budgets, to visit clients, attend meetings, and support business development initiatives.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work, or 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Able to translate previous work experience into good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
  • Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
  • Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Friendly / outgoing personality.
  • Customer focused.
  • Works well with others.
  • Ability to work with specialized software related to the position such as CRM.
  • Valid Drivers License

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work or role with up to 5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
  • Able to translate previous work experience into very good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions.
  • Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance.
  • Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
  • Able to apply very good functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC or other technical tools to complete work assignments.
  • May require knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn specialized software related to the position such as CRM.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Able to understand general business concepts and apply them when communicating with diverse groups of people when completing work assignments.
  • Valid Driver's License
