Position Summary:

This key leadership role is responsible for driving sustainable profitable growth in Benco's large, broad and profitable Private Label division by increasing Benco Brand market share through innovative product development across a significant number of product lines. This position will develop, implement, and lead the strategic vision for launching dozens of new products annually, educating our sales team and customers on Benco Brand products, and effectively managing vendor relations, product portfolio, publications, and promotions. The successful candidate will possess and develop the knowledge about assigned product lines within the team to be a resource for customers, sales reps, and the company to see trends and drive maximum revenue/margin opportunities. This position is also responsible for the growth of private label product sales in direct-to-consumer e-commerce channels.

  • Ability to lead, mentor and guide associates to meet and surpass company strategic goals
  • Successful track record of developing and delivering comprehensive product launch programs including sales training, customer and sales facing marketing and training collateral, and associate training programs
  • Ability to multi-task, have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to leverage technology to evaluate market conditions and opportunity, manage workflow and productivity and ensure team focus is on meeting companywide OKRs

  • Lead the team in conducting market analysis to identify opportunities for product development and vendor partnerships, enhancing product value, effectiveness, and quality of care while reinforcing Benco's position as an innovation leader.
  • Guide the team in evaluating and managing the product line portfolio to drive market share growth and overall profitability, ensuring optimal positioning and pricing of private label products in alignment with Benco's three-tiered branding strategy.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a proactive and knowledgeable environment to support and expand sales efforts.
  • Oversee the team's efforts in performing comprehensive analyses of market trends, competitive landscape, and internal performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth and strategic adjustments in collaboration with Marketing Operations.
  • Direct strategic cost management initiatives, including regular product bidding processes, to drive savings and enhance profit margins.
  • Contribute to the strategic vision and oversee the team's efforts in selecting and designing products for dental show exhibits, enhancing brand visibility and engagement through field activities and vendor site visits.


Do YOU Meet These Requirements?



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Ten years of progressively responsible Marketing or related experience
  • Demonstrated project management and people leadership skills
  • Dental industry/product knowledge preferred
  • Approximately 20% travel (sales co-travels, vendor meetings, dental shows, etc.)
