We're seeking a Social Media Manager with a deep understanding of engaging and growing digital communities through an authentic, brand-driven approach. This experienced subject matter expert will be responsible for creating and executing seasonal and brand-driven social media campaigns that reflect our brand identity, while organically growing our online community through social media channels. This is an integrated marketing role, requiring close collaboration and coordination with our Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, Marketing Creative, and Brand Marketing teams. This strategically creative role will manage and execute a critical touchpoint with our consumer and community.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Develop and Execute Social Media Strategy:Create and implement a social media strategy that reflects our brand's mission, values, mountain-focused culture while driving sales. Focus on growing our audience and increasing engagement while reflecting the communities we serve.

  • Content Creation & Storytelling:Craft visually stunning and compelling content (images, videos, stories, reels, etc.) that highlights our products, brand stories, athletes, and community. Showcase how our product innovation and technologies features and benefits to our audiences.

  • Community Engagement & Growth:Engage with our growing audience of outdoor lovers, adventurers, and athletes. Foster meaningful conversations, encourage user-generated content, and build a loyal community that shares our passion for the outdoors.

  • Collaborate with Athletes, Brand Ambassadors, and Partners:Develop and maintain a process to leverage generated content with athletes and influential partners (individuals, organizations, or brands) who align with our brand values. Develop partnerships, collaborations, or co-hosted social media activations that increase brand awareness and drive new customer acquisition.

  • Brand Awareness & Campaigns:Execute brand awareness and seasonal initiative campaigns through social media platforms, with cross-functional marketing coordination.

  • Revenue Generation:Collaborate with our ecommerce team to create integrated shopping experience for a seamless purchasing through product tagging. Coordinate with our Digital Marketing Manager to leverage Paid Digital Media efforts.

  • Analyze & Optimize Social Media Performance:Track KPIs, analyze social media data, and report on performance to ensure campaigns are driving traffic, conversions, and revenue. Continuously optimize content and strategies based on performance insights.

  • Stay on Top of Trends:Keep up with the latest social media trends, outdoor industry shifts, and digital marketing best practices. Bring fresh ideas and creative concepts to the table to ensure we remain at the forefront of the outdoor apparel and equipment space.

  • Collaborate Across Teams:Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to align social media efforts with overall brand objectives and product launches. Ensure social content complements broader marketing campaigns and customer experiences.

YOU ARE

  • Passionate about the outdoors and areas of play like skiing, snowboarding, hiking and camping.

  • A Social Media guru, who understands the consumer journey on all social platforms to engage with product.

  • Successful at directly interacting and building relationships with internal and external collaborators.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field and/or 5-8 years professional experience minimum. Experience in related outdoor or sporting industry is beneficial.

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in the outdoor, lifestyle, or adventure space.

  • Experience in related outdoor or sporting industry is beneficial. A strong connection to and understanding of outdoor mountain activities a plus (bouldering, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, trail running)

  • Strong experience with both organic and paid social media strategies, with a focus on driving online sales and engagement.

  • Expertise in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.), including analytics and paid advertising tools.

  • Experience in creating high-quality, visually appealing content through a brand lens that tells a story and resonates with the target audience.

  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to craft compelling captions and storytelling content.

  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and optimize maximum results.

  • Experience working with brand athletes, influential community members, and community-building strategies.

  • Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or other content creation and scheduling platforms.

  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and digital marketing strategies is a bonus.

  • High level of ownership of responsibilities, forward thinker, always working toward elevating brand opportunities.

  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem solve in an entrepreneurial, deadline-driven environment.

  • Maintain a high level of project ownership, accountability for product data, and project-based communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Exceptional communication skills in order to work with remote team seamlessly.

Salary Range: $102,100 - $170,500 *Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate's capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
