What You'll Do:
We are seeking a motivated FP&A Intern with a strong understanding of financial concepts and solid technical skills - or a strong willingness to learn. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine financial analysis with data engineering capabilities to enhance reporting, automate processes, and improve data accessibility. The intern will support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting while also contributing to data-driven projects. This internship is a great opportunity for someone looking to blend finance with data engineering technical skills, helping to enhance Triton's reporting & data visualization and gain exposure to data engineering concepts - all while contributing to meaningful financial insights that drive business decisions.
Key responsibilities will include:


  • Assist in monthly financial reporting processes, supporting reporting tasks, data consolidation, and analysis.
  • Help develop and improve models to support financial planning, forecasting, and data visualization.
  • Collaborate with team members to create insightful financial reports and dashboards.
  • Support the conversion of Business Objects (BO) reports into Streamlit/Thoughtspot dashboards to enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Assist in organizing and moving key reporting data into our data warehouse to improve access to historical data and support automated reporting.
  • Contribute to data extraction and verification efforts for key projects



What We're Looking For:


  • Rising senior, recent graduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Data Science, Computer Science or related field(s)
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with SQL and/or Python to enhance reporting automation and data analysis.
  • Interest in working with Streamlit/Thoughspot to develop dynamic dashboards.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, data sources, and project priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Interest in exploring new ETL tools, best practices, or emerging trends to improve data processes.
  • Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week.


  • Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY office

* This is a paid internship. The expected hourly rate for this role is $20/hour.
