Triton's Internship Program is a paid opportunity for talented and qualified individuals to gain real world, resume-building experience at a globally diverse, industry-leading company. What You'll Do:
Triton International is seeking a Communications Intern to support corporate and employee communications, content development, and engagement initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in writing, editing, content creation, event coordination, and strategic communication planning. The intern will work closely with the Director of Communications and collaborate across multiple teams, including ESG, HR, Marketing, and Investor Relations, to enhance corporate messaging and maintain digital platforms.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with digital platform projects, including coordinating and updating our company intranet, LinkedIn, and company-wide digital screens
- Monitoring and enhancing engagement activity within the intranet platform
- Assisting in the design and management of content updates
- Auditing and updating our LinkedIn page to identify and remove outdated content
- Updating relevant content areas, including the LinkedIn Internship page
- Supporting the Communications team with a variety of content and storytelling projects, including writing and editing feature articles
- Supporting ESG and ERG summer events and volunteer efforts by building event pages, tracking RSVP's and capturing event recaps for internal and external content
- Assisting with the coordination of internal engagement events
What We're Looking For:
- A rising senior or graduate student pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing Communications, Content Creation, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of corporate branding, digital media management, and digital platforms
- Ability to commit to 37.5 hours/week.
- Must be at a commutable distance (within 50 miles) to the Purchase, NY office
