What You'll Do
Job Title: Geotechnical Staff Project Manager I Job Location: Houston, TX Type: Full time/Permanent Job Duties: Prepare Geo-technical Reports and Analysis. Conduct 4-Pole Field Electrical Resistivity tests. Conduct Pressure Meter tests using the Pencel PMT Equipment. Set up 811 tickets. Business Development. Set-up meetings with potential clients. Monitor Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Projects. Monitor project budgets, change orders and prepare invoices. Assist the field work and field staff on Special Inspections (CMT, Geo-tech and Facilities). Perform boring and test pit layouts. Prepare drilling packages. Perform research on local geologic history. Perform in-situ tests. Classify soil and assign laboratory testing. Prepare daily field reports for all the CMT projects. Perform high level trainings for the development of colleagues. Set-up project kick off meetings with subs, clients, engineers and project personnel. Minimum Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geo-technical Engineering, Geology, Construction Management, or related field. 1 year of experience with APMT; OpenGround; Keytabs; Ethel; QGIS.
