The Opportunity

Adobe is hiring a Director of Product Management to lead AI/GenAI innovation and drive ecosystem partnerships. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of GenAI powered automation, enabling businesses to develop adaptive, context-aware AI agents that seamlessly integrate across platforms to deliver next-generation customer experiences.

As the product leader, you will define and execute a bold vision for GenAI services, driving intelligent automation, hyper-personalization, and measurable business impact. Collaborating with Adobe's product teams, enterprise customers, and strategic partners, you will push the boundaries of AI-driven orchestration. You will also work closely with AI and platform leaders to seamlessly integrate generative AI, enhancing intelligence, adaptability, and real-world impact across the ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned AI/ML product leader with a proven track record in building scalable AI platforms. You thrive in ambiguity, excel in strategic execution, and bring a systems-thinking approach to balancing innovation with scale. You will work closely with engineering, research, and design teams to advance AI-powered automation and agent intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and execution for GenAI, enabling businesses to customize, extend, and orchestrate AI-driven automation across Adobe and third-party ecosystems.
  • Shape the roadmap and investment strategy, aligning product priorities with business growth, customer adoption, and market differentiation to scale Adobe's ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with engineering, program management, and applied research leaders to drive technical innovation, ensuring scalability and enterprise-grade execution.
  • Influence and align cross-functional teams-including researchers, engineers, product leaders, and senior executives-to drive a shared vision for AI-driven customer experiences.
  • Engage with customers, partners, and industry leaders, representing Adobe's AI strategy while identifying opportunities for adoption and monetization.
  • Anticipate market shifts and competitive dynamics, translating insights into actionable strategies that enhance customer engagement and business impact.
  • Balance long-term innovation with near-term execution, delivering AI capabilities that advance automation, efficiency, and personalization.
  • Foster a high-performance culture, championing collaboration, innovation, and a customer-first mindset to maximize impact across Adobe's ecosystem.

What's Needed To Succeed

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of product management leadership experience, including managing cross-functional teams and driving ecosystem growth.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI and Cloud platform technologies, with experience building scalable, extensible solutions.
  • Proven track record in ecosystem development, working with partners, third-party developers, and enterprise customers to expand product adoption.
  • Strong customer insight, critical thinking, and product innovation skills, with a history of delivering AI-driven solutions that drive business impact.
  • Ability to lead and influence across organizations, fostering collaboration across product, engineering, sales, and external stakeholders.
  • Experience defining and executing complex product roadmaps, balancing strategic vision with near-term execution.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to align diverse teams and stakeholders around a shared vision.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, driving alignment across functions, business units, and global teams.

The U.S. pay range for this positionis $166,100 -- $334,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
