Position Description

The Associate Project Manager is responsible for the administrative processes throughout the project lifecycle for custom engineered pumps and compressors. This position supports the Project Manager from quote to closeout and will interface with the entire project team and various departments throughout the business. Candidates for this position typically are seeking practical, hands-on experience in project management and have a technical or business background.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • PM Support/Coordinator- Responsible for managing Inspectors while they are on site
  • Print out all NOIs and required procedures for the witness point in question
  • Answer and follows up on all questions
  • Takes inspectors to witness testing at the right times
  • Sets up meals for inspectors, project team, and manufacturing team performing the testing
  • Reports out at the end of the day to project team and ties out with inspector
  • Obtain signed documents from Inspector and provide to appropriate doc coordinator
  • Sends out all NOIs for witness points for all Complex and Core Projects
  • Creates Expense Committee Forms for all Complex and Core Projects
  • Rolls up Major Expense Summaries for all Complex and Core projects
  • Could travel to supplier witness points up to once a month
  • Submit Progress Payments
  • Meeting minutes
  • Submits Orders through Team Center

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in a support role; Industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Must be able to take direction but work independently
  • Must be able to take initiative and solve problems
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, assignments and changing priorities efficiently
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization in a professional manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively

Compensation Details

Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00
