About The Job

We are seeking an energetic, detail oriented, motivated individual to join our Accounting team as a Labor Compliance Administrator. This person will provide overall support in regards to publicly funded projects. This person will also handle certain aspects of weekly payroll labor compliance for Dudek and its subsidiary, Habitat Restoration Sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit labor compliance requirements for awarded public works projects.
  • Monitor Prime/Subcontractor compliance for California Labor Code pertaining to Public Works Projects, Davis-Bacon Act and other labor requirements.
  • Audit daily reports, timesheets.
  • Review subcontractor payrolls on behalf of Prime Contractor.
  • Facilitate proper reporting of all data required by projects utilizing LCP Tracker Pro, DIR, PRISM and eComplyreporting systems on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Prepare and submit all certified payroll reports on jobs requiring prevailing wage and other ad hoc reporting required for labor compliance.
  • Additional reporting tasks required by projects utilizing the PRISM and LCP reporting systems on a monthly basis. Prepare and submit any other ad hoc reporting required for labor compliance.
  • Coordinate and work with Temporary Agencies
  • Assist with the development of labor compliance procedures and polices.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of payroll processing experience. Must have California payroll experience. FPCcertification is a plus.
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local wage and tax laws and overtime requirements.
  • Knowledge of payroll related benefits administration
  • Knowledge of fringe benefits and employer credits
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment.
  • Dedicated team player, detail oriented and an effective communicator to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extenstive understanding of Labor Compliance procedures and polices
  • Experience with analyzing documents while using critical thinking
  • Experience working with LCP Tracker software
  • Cerdian Dayforce payroll processing experience.
  • Experience using Deltek Vision.
  • Previous experience with labor unions, prevailing wage and certified payroll reports.

Proposed Salary Range:$31.25 - $36.05 hourly*

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
