IT Project Engineer III will require following skillsets - able to perform high level multiple engineering-IT project related tasks in various assignments as assigned by Project Manager or Director of Professional Services. Can demonstrate knowledge and diversity in understanding high level scope range. Can oversee the design, development, implementation, and analysis of technology products and systems. Classified as a subject matter expert in at least one Atlas line of business product/service (see General Requirements below) including holding a minimum of one current certification a year. As a Project Engineer III you will also be expected to fulfill a role of leadership and mentoring to all Project Engineer team-mates. This may be accomplished by providing training sessions, as assigned by Director of Professional Services, to your team-mates.

Project Engineer III has knowledge and practice in support of team improvement and focus on labor and time management and works as lead with Project team to improve project deliverables to be on time and under budget. Able to assess and track time accurately into project management CRM and documentation systems.

Able to work independently but also able to communicate regularly and consistently with other project team members. Must be able to demonstrate a professional demeanor that represents Atlas Core Values of respect-relationships, integrity, communication-collaboration, while maintaining honesty and humor. Reports to Director of Professional Services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • * Performs engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget.
  • * Project Engineer III can work independently, consistently, and is able to follow Atlas Best Practices.
  • * Keeps up with Industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance and shares any discrepancies to Atlas Project Team for review.
  • * Provides technical escalation support and mentoring to help desk members after confirmation of escalation processes.
  • * Takes action to resolve issues and minimize delays while also keeping PM aware.
  • * Engage all Project Stakeholders on status of all scheduled technical tasks completed and next steps.
  • * Documentation is mandatory and essential to all projects and is key to our service delivery success.
  • * Collaboration with internal project team members regarding status, milestones, risks with all projects assigned is required.
  • * KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) will be shared for individual and team contribution and insight.
  • * Project Engineer III has a technical core competency that can be demonstrated and is able to stay current in knowledge of hardware, software, networking, applications, and systems engineering.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
