UHS's Corporate Compliance Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Compliance Program Manager.

The Compliance Program Manager assists in the coordination, development and implementation of UHS's organization-wide Compliance Program. This position reports directly to UHS' Vice President, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer. Although this role is based out of UHS's Corporate Offices, it can work remotely from any location (certain limitations may apply).

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provides program management support for the overall Compliance Program infrastructure.
  • Creates, manages, and delivers reporting for compliance/privacy education and training offerings.
  • Compiles data reports to monitor the statistical performance of the program and the organization's compliance with key regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates and maintains the key software and information system applications that support ongoing compliance initiatives (e.g., conflict of interest disclosures, policy and procedure management systems, compliance matters tracking databases, compliance/privacy Intranet and Internet resource sites, privacy breach monitoring, sanction screening, conflict of interest databases, etc.).
  • Completes special projects as assigned by the VP, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer to support certain key compliance/privacy risks as they arise. This may include specialized education and training offerings, auditing and monitoring activities, research on creation of corrective action plans/processes, etc.
  • Assists VP, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer, and other Compliance team members in conducting investigations pursuant to identified or reported compliance/privacy matters.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5 years of compliance experience required or a combination of compliance and other related experience.

  • Certification of Healthcare Compliance in progress or completed, preferred
  • Effective communication, organizational, collaboration and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and interact with all levels of company employees.
  • Excellent computer skills on various systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage projects with limited supervision or direction.
  • Takes the initiative in accomplishing the objectives of the Compliance Program based on direction by the VP, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer.
  • Travel requirement up to 10%.
