Printpack in Elgin, IL is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Forklift Operator position on 3rd shift (11pm - 7am, Sun - Thu). This position requires a minimum of one to three years experience of material handling and stand-up forklift operation.

Additional $2.50/hr shift differential for NIGHT Shift only between the hours of 7pm-7am. Any hours worked outside of 7pm-7am will not receive the premium.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficient operation of stand-up and sit-down forklift to move materials

  • Performance of routine safety inspections and of forklift equipment

  • Loading and unloading semi-trucks

  • Moving material, general support of warehouse, shipping/receiving, and material handling functions

  • Operate Wrapper machine

  • General housekeeping duties such as sweeping, cleaning equipment, stacking or removing pallets, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience material handling and stand-up forklift operation required

  • High School Diploma or GED not required

  • General understanding of rack numbering systems, tags, raw materials, and WIP

  • Willing to work a day or night shift

  • Willing to work overtime when required material handling in warehouse
