About the Role:
The Senior Vice President will be responsible for supporting the overall strategic direction, growth, and operational excellence of the firm. The role requires a leader with a deep understanding of forensic accounting, with a focus in litigation support and economic damages and a track record of success working in the field.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of the firm's long-term strategic plan, including market positioning, service offerings, and business development initiatives within the litigation support space
- Build and maintain strong relationships with attorney clients, providing exceptional service
- Oversee the quantification of various litigation support matters involving personal injury, wrongful death, wrongful termination, intellectual property and the like
- Assist in the development of case strategies and provide insights on the financial implications of same.
- Prepare detailed reports and provide expert witness testimony in court, as needed.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, expand client relationships, and build strategic partnerships.
- Participate in business development efforts, including the preparation and delivery of educational and training presentations.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture in order to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Support the development and training efforts of staff and middle management to encourage their growth and the growth of the firm.
- Represent Ampcus Forensics at business and community functions to maintain existing client relationships and develop new ones.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging forensic accounting techniques
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Certification(s) to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in key related skills such as ABV, CPA, CFE, or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years of forensic accounting, litigation support, business valuation or related experience.
- A record of progressively increasing knowledge, skill, responsibility, and independence.
- Must have demonstrated computer skills and experience with accounting software, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated experience providing written deliverables
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team Possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence to handle confrontation, pressure, and deadlines
- A valid passport and the ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required for both client engagements and business development efforts
- Fluency in English is required. Additional languages are beneficial but not required
