Description

This position is located at NIWC LANT and supports the installation Program Office of the Fleet Readiness Directorate. The C4I Systems Integration Testing Technical Analyst is responsible for providing the vision, direction and implementation of the System of System Test (SOT) Program.

    Performing overall planning, management, and execution of the NAVWAR FRD SOT Test Programs to ensure all C4I systems are mission ready post installation
  • Scheduling and managing execution of ~20 SOT events per year
  • Assisting in the development of comprehensive Operational test plans for C4I systems after Installation/Modernization availabilities
  • Directing the coordination and communication of test plan execution with Regional Maintenance Centers, Public and Private Ship Yards, Planning Yards, TYCOMS, Fleet Staffs, NAVSEA and other stakeholders as required
  • Working with all stakeholders across the Fleet and NAVWAR SOT test plans and SOT requirements in liaison with PEO and NAVWAR 5.0
  • Interfacing with Active-Duty Military personnel and US Government employees to provide onboard support to platforms undergoing C4I SOT (Systems Operability Test)
  • Briefing senior leadership on planning and execution of Test plans
    • Briefing will include high level discussions with Flag and SES Leadership
  • Coordinating with NAVWAR FRD 200 Test Directors on identifying upcoming SOT events, providing reports as needed to track progress and to identify any issues onboard supported platforms, and writing Daily Status Reports/After Action Report with lessons learned and changes required to tests plan and any other issues from onboard support post-SOT.
  • Tasking includes but is not limited to troubleshooting, metrics collection, maintenance support, and the timely entry of communication and tasking

Requirements

  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include:
    • Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance with eligibility to get a TS
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Experience with PEO C4I Hosted Applications and Connected Systems
  • Position requires SIPR NMCI access as well as access to multiple restricted areas


Desired Skills

  • Overall project management skills highly desired
  • Experience with C4I programs
  • Experience with executing Test Plans and communicating with multiple stakeholders at the senior level

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET ELIGIBILITY



Travel Requirements

  • Up to 30% travel requirement, to support Cyber Readiness Team efforts, both CONUS and OCONUS
