Role Objective

This role is an integral support partner to some members of our sales team. It will perform planning, budgeting, and analysis for an assigned portion of the sales organization.

Additionally it will:



  • Create sales and revenue forecasts using pipeline analysis, booking estimates, and key sales performance indicators
  • Provide guidance to the sales teams by developing a well-structured sales process and implementing solutions based on analysis
  • Responsible for handling and managing the workflow of organizational sales processes, enabling sales operations to go smoothly and ensure the implementation of sales strategies to further the growth of the organization
  • Gather and organize data and generate deeper customer insight in order to enhance sales force productivity

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Builds both internal and external customer relationships
  • Participates in or leads business process development and follows/adheres to processes and policies as defined
  • Coordinates initiatives between distributors, GOJO sales teams, Manufacturers' Reps, end-users, and internal teams
  • Performs various administrative and operational functions to ensure seamless sales operations support with a customer service lens
  • Identifies and seeks priorities from distributor and account owner to provide required support
  • Collaborates with internal and external marketing teams to develop promotions, marketing campaigns, digital assets, etc.
  • Collaborates, develops, monitors, and tracks progress of promotions and marketing campaigns, communicates status updates Identifies issues that require sales management involvement and provides recommended solutions
  • Reviews, approves, and processes distributor catalog/website/portal updates in a timely manner, creating and/or proofing to ensure accuracy of product description, stock numbers, pricing and other product attributes in compliance with GOJO identity standards
  • Teams cross-functionally to ensure accurate data, programs, general information is provided to our customers
  • Provides strong logistical support and participates as needed for team meetings, customer visits, business review meetings, trade shows, open houses, etc.
  • Supports, prepares content for, and participates in customer meetings, business reviews and sales meetings in collaboration with GOJO seller (ex: presentation, agenda, and communications to internal and external customers)
  • Identified reporting needs, provides reporting and/or coordinates required reporting as required or requested by distributor, channel partner, account owner, sales management, or leadership
  • Analyzes data as needed or requested by distributor, channel partner, account owner, sales management, or leadership
  • Participates in forecasting and inventory management activities
  • Ensures accurate program payment calculations and ensures timely payments are made within designated timeframe as outlined on trade development plans/or other legal agreements
  • Manages and audits distributor reporting or other required data in support of programs as outlined in trade development plans/or other legal agreements
  • Validates and processes invoices and credit requests as outlined on trade development plans/or other legal agreements
  • Maintains, adheres to and audits budgets as required
  • Provides ongoing maintenance support of account, contact and opportunity records in CRM system

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree or higher in business administration, marketing or a related degree preferred. With degree, minimum five (5) years' experience in customer service, administrative support, sales support, operations support or marketing support in a business-to-business environment
  • In lieu of degree, minimum six (6) years' experience listed above
  • Analytical skills required
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Applications, with intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • ERP (SAP a plus) and CRM (Salesforce.com a plus) system knowledge required
  • Demonstration of professional business communications required

Supervision/Coordination

  • Works under little supervision. Relies on experience and judgment to prioritize, plan and accomplish tasks and goals
  • Coordinates and communicates events/activities as appropriate
  • Intentionally provides coaching, guidance and support to other team members
  • Does not directly supervise other team members
