The Multimedia and Animation & Game Art programs at Allan Hancock College, Santa Maria is seeking applications to develop a qualified pool of part-time faculty for possible vacancies. Positions are available as determined by need during the Fall and/or Spring semesters of the 2025-2026 academic years. Essential Functions and Qualifications
-
Responsibilities and duties may include teaching one or more subjects in the programs: 2D or 3D Animation, 3D Modeling, Motion Graphics, Game and App Design, and Multimedia. Successful candidates will be able to provide evidence of a sensitivity to, understanding of, and ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Any bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience, OR any associate degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent.

SALARY: Lecture Rate: $65.74 to $86.44 per hour depending upon education and experience Lab Rate: $57.27 to $75.26 per hour depending upon education and experience Activity Rate: $37.13 to $50.62 per hour depending upon education and experience
