CLA is currently seeking a VTS Senior to join our talented Communications team. This role works to carry out the specified vision of video and internal communication elements for the firm. This individual helps with technical creation, promotion, and utilization of the available video technology that is used within the firm for communication, education, and visualization.

They support the Managing Director of PR and Communications by organizing, supervising, and helping direct video

projects, editing audio and video content and developing video support concepts

How you'll create opportunities in this VTS Senior role:

  • Video Technician: Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to deadlines and withinbudget. This includes identifying necessary resources and coordinating the efforts of team members. The Individual will work with the Managing Director to help define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle. Works with others throughout the firm to edit and define video communication materials including helping with scope, theme, audio and visual elements, budget, and timeline. Uses the CLA Promise and marketing strategy to prioritize project requests. Works closely with the CLA Video team to help edit content and work and create efforts around shoots and multimedia projects. Sets up and tears down equipment, including camera, lighting, and audio. Helps guide talent on set. Proficient in a PC environment. Experience with non-linear editing and pre- and post-video production. Provide professional expertise to assist with and coordinate troubleshooting activities of video efforts and related service to ensure overall needs of Firm's systems are met effectively and efficiently. Collaborate with the Video Technical Services team to help with ancillary video opportunities as directly by the Managing Director. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Remain current in market trends/practices (e.g., methodology, tools, technical specifications, and other developments) to effectively analyze and determine whether the CLA video enterprise systems align with established standards. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal/external constituencies to promote the success of established short- and long-term objectives and goals. Manages time and expense reporting for self in accordance with CLA standards. Contributes to CLA's continual process improvement. Implements and maintains a customer service delivery model that ensures a high degree of customer satisfaction. Ensures support processes, documentation, and procedures are in place and tested for all new systems introduced. Consults with team members to promote integration with customer support processes and to enable total customer satisfaction. Ensures satisfactory levels of performance through use of appropriate monitoring and management tools, regular maintenance, and system and capacity management processes.

  • Project Management: Provide effective project management on select projects, leading customer focusedproject teams to achieve desired outcomes on time and within budget. Lead projects with communication, outcome, process, resource, schedule, and budget management.

  • Administrative: Communicate with other team members and internal clients. Develop andmaintain quality relationships with appropriate vendor technical resources. Perform other duties as may be reasonable and necessary. Take ownership of career development through self-assessment and self-improvement Work with leadership to develop continuous self-learning plan and to match skills, interests and values to opportunities that exist within the firm.

What you will need:

  • 6 years' experience in a video services, communications, or related position is preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree required. A combination of relevant education, training and experience may beaccepted in lieu of degree.

  • Skilled in Adobe CC (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator). Strong attention to detail and abilityto proof content (adhering to CLA brand and style standards).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Strategy

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range. These same factors may cause starting pay to be below or above the posted range. The Minnesota posting range for this role is $58,200 - $101,000
