Job Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent and support business growth. This role partners with senior leadership to develop hiring plans, improve employer branding, and optimize recruitment processes to ensure a seamless hiring experience.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and execute strategic talent acquisition plans that align with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters and coordinators, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with business leaders to understand workforce planning needs and anticipate hiring trends.
  • Oversee employer branding efforts to enhance the company's talent attraction strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including job boards, recruitment agencies, and technology providers.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and labor laws.
  • Analyze hiring metrics to improve recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
  • Manage and optimize the recruitment budget.
  • Drive process improvements and innovation in recruitment practices.



Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5-10 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, workforce planning, and employer branding.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing tools.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and make strategic recommendations.

Scope:

Primary focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting. Accountable for managing one's own time and workflow and leads projects and/or large project steps. Work is complex in nature, requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform role. Acts independently the majority of the time, requiring guidance in only complex situations. Has well established capabilities, acts as a resource to less experienced staff on moderately complex issues.

Decision Impact:

Problems and issues faced are vague and require reasoning to identify root cause. Draws on significant past experience to perform role. Proficient in the body of knowledge of given discipline or specialty area. Accountable for direct level of reasoning and decision making.

Scope:

Primary Focus is on daily deliverables, outputs and reporting. Accountable for managing one's own time and work flow. Responsibilities are generally tactical in nature and work is typically complex in nature requiring the incumbent to draw on previous knowledge to perform role. Has a well-established capabilities, acts as a resource to less experienced staff on routine issues.

Storm Roles:

All Non-Union Employees will serve in storm roles as appropriate to their role and skillset. Please be sure to discuss storm roles with the hiring manager for this position, as duties can vary across the Company. Examples of storm roles could include but aren't limited to duties such as: working with operations for service center support or with the communications, customer service, or government affairs teams to respond to public and customer requests for information, etc.

Data Governance:

Utilize data to make business decisions as appropriate for the position, support data stewardship activities and partner with IT on underlying data needs.
