Business Continuity Planning Analyst

Job Purpose

The Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Analyst provides guidance on business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing activities in accordance with ICE's global policy, governance, and standards. Responds at time of disaster to assist Risk Management run the Emergency Operations Center.

The Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Analyst will have knowledge and understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery planning methodologies to support ICE's business continuity program.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements templates, tools to facilitate recovery planning, and exercises.
• Guides employees to use tools and templates in the design of plan development and recovery testing.
• Assesses planning materials to verify compliance with governance.
• Reviews recovery plans to assess compliance with governance.
• Coordinates and monitors disaster recovery testing exercise events to ensure activities progress according to event plans, issues are logged, and status reporting is provided to stakeholders.
• Maintains test schedule.
• Responds at time of disaster.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
• Relevant certifications in business continuity or risk management preferred (ABCP, CBCP, MBCP) desired
• 3 or more years of experience supporting business continuity/disaster recovery in an enterprise setting
• Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery planning and validation methodologies
• Ability to clearly communicate complex disaster recovery concepts in a clear, concise, and professional manner including presentations to employees and clients at all levels
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and at times work independently
• Ability to organize completion of work within tight time frames
• Ability to understand and apply learned concepts
• Demonstrated ability to plan and complete work within tight time limitations

Schedule

This role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.
