Description Are you an experienced Powder Coater with leadership experience looking for a new full-time, permanent opportunity? Acara Solutions is hiring for our client in Lake Zurich, IL. What you'll do: * Lead production team * Responsible for a full range of specialized painting projects per customer and/or management request. * Prepare and powder a variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, other shop-coated metal, uncoated metal, finished hardware, accessories, and other specified surfaces. * Apply protective powder coatings to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork. * Maintain equipment (preventative maintenance) and work in a safe manner. * Responsible for the storage and proper disposal of paint products. * Operate various tools and equipment necessary for powder coating. * Maintain and assist with the overall cleanliness of the production area, including mopping floors, trash cleanup, scrap material preparation, taking out garbage, and ensuring a safe work environment. * Assist in the unloading of trucks, including boxes and light poles that require team lifting. * Perform other duties as assigned. For immediate consideration email your resume to Sarah at pastores@acarasolutions.com Job Requirements Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required. * Minimum of 5 years' experience in powder coating. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role in manufacturing * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. * Capable of lifting 50 pounds independently.
