Job Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Staffing and Onboarding will lead and supervise a team of HR associates responsible for recruiting and onboarding direct hires and billable contract personnel. In this role, you will manage the full cycle recruiting process, develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies, and ensure the organization attracts and hires top talent while adhering to legal and ethical standards. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Staffing and Onboarding will provide services in accordance with established standards, principles, and ethics of the profession, as well as the standards upheld by relevant professional specialty organizations and the high-quality service for which Acuity International is recognized. The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) - Staffing and Onboarding will leverage business knowledge and HR expertise in a fast-paced, remote, and challenging environment. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of recruitment practices and onboarding processes. The Senior HRBP will actively support and uphold the Company's mission, vision, and values.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle recruiting.
  • Develop new recruitment and onboarding strategies to enhance candidate and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop/ review job descriptions.
  • Ensure a seamless recruitment process by maintaining accurate candidate records and following up on interview outcomes.
  • Supervise the processing of job offers, including salary negotiations, benefit explanations, and offer letters.
  • Review training files; ensure all client and regulatory documentation requirements are met, and the information is current.
  • Supervise the coordination with Exam Ops to schedule physical exams and training course needs.
  • Assist in site mobilization and demobilization.
  • Ensure fair and consistent information and assistance is provided to all candidates and employees
  • for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Monitor and track new hires' progress, ensuring completion of onboarding steps promptly.

  • Provide guidance and support to new employees by answering questions about benefits, company policies, and their roles. Update and review onboarding processes as needed.
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all new hires, ensuring that they feel engaged from day one.
  • Adhere to legal and company requirements by ensuring that all new hire documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in recruitment and onboarding to improve processes.
  • Collaborate with the HR Manager to assess the overall staffing and onboarding strategies. Oversee the staffing of the international team at Martyr BG Ali Flaih AB in Balad, Iraq, ensuring that project site needs are met according to the work plan and the Project Manager's requirements.
  • Ensure that Affirmative Action information is accurately captured using available resources.
  • Provide accurate data entry of candidate information into the Applicant Tracking System and assist in maintaining and auditing employee files.
  • Prepare resume maintenance for work plan and position compliance.
  • Draft outgoing correspondence, including regret notices, interview invitations, and responses to inquiries.
  • Perform managerial, administrative, or logistical duties as assigned by the Directors for various corporate entities, both internal and external, in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • General knowledge of U.S. employment and labor law.
  • Thorough knowledge and experience with ATS, sourcing strategies, recruiting processes, job boards, and FLSA.
  • General knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday experience a plus).
  • MBA/MSHRM preferred; BS/BA required (In certain situations, relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage a team and ensure high levels of productivity and performance.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours.
  • Advanced ability to handle multiple tasks and details in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely flexible, with the ability to work through stressful situations professionally.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of international experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Possess a valid home of record driver's license.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting to 15 lbs.
  • Good eye and hand coordination is required.
  • Constant use of sight, speech, hearing, frequent keying, and use of computer and standard office equipment required.
  • The work location is in an extremely hot, austere, and potentially hostile environment.
