As a Territory Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building relationships with key accounts, and expanding Hexagon's market presence within an assigned geographic territory.



Job Responsibilities
What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing customers.
  • Consult with clients to understand their manufacturing challenges and recommend Hexagon's solutions to address their needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical teams, product managers, and marketing to deliver value-driven solutions to customers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to enhance customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
  • Represent Hexagon at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings to promote brand awareness.

Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within the manufacturing, industrial automation, or metrology industry.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in a technical sales environment.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.


Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience selling software, measurement technologies, or factory automation solutions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, metrology, or CAD/CAM software.
  • Understanding of IoT, AI-driven automation, or digital transformation trends in manufacturing.


Physical Demands:

  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within California for client meetings and industry events.


Work Environment:

  • Fully remote position, based in California.
  • Requires a home office setup with reliable internet access.
