Columbia University in the City of New York: Columbia University Irving Medical Center: Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons: Radiology Location 02 Open Date Mar 11, 2025 Salary Range or Pay Grade $400,000.00- $550,000.00 Description The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and New York-Presbyterian (NYP) is seeking an outstanding vascular and interventional radiologist to lead our Division of Interventional Radiology. This is a unique opportunity to build a growing division in a department known for clinical, research, and educational excellence. The Division Chief of Interventional Radiology reports directly to the Chair of Radiology and will provide vision and leadership for our robust clinical, research and education activities. We seek candidates with excellent communication and leadership skills and an ability to manage an outstanding research team. Prior administrative experience and demonstrated commitment to training and education are highly valued. Salary range starts at $500,000. Columbia offers a generous benefits package. The Division of Interventional Radiology performs over 12,000 procedures a year in a diverse array of sites extending from northern Westchester to New York City, including a large tertiary academic center in New York City, two community hospitals in Westchester, two robust outpatient centers in Midtown Manhattan and Tarrytown, NY, and a large tertiary care children's hospital. The procedures performed include both arterial and venous interventions, liver and renal transplant interventions, interventional oncology including radioembolization, chemoembolization, immunoembolization, microwave ablation, cryoablation, TIPS, complex biliary interventions, IVC placements and complex removals, prostate artery embolization, uterine fibroid embolization, superficial and deep venous interventions and dialysis interventions including percutaneous fistula creations. Many of these procedures are performed at the outpatient centers. We have top tier approved IR/DR Integrated and Independent residencies and a large portfolio of research activities. The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center has more than 100 full time faculty and performs over 800,000 imaging exams each year in state-of-the-art facilities.
