Apply Now > Save Job Job Saved Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division, Parker Hannifin Corp, specializes in the design, manufacture and distribution of compressed air & gas treatment, on-site gas generation systems and clean air solutions. Welds metal components together with MIG welder. This is an on-site position, acceptance of this will role require living within the WNY area. Welding including spot welding, tig, mig and stick.Set up of welders, fabricate (bend, cut, weld, and drill) grinding and shearing. Assure parts are to print and of good quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Candidate has to be reliable. Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements. Ability to read a tape measure and ruler. Ability to ready blueprints and a knowledge of engineered specified tolerances. Keep work area clean and organized. Follow all company rules and quality standards. Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Uphold all ISO and OSHA standards applicable to the responsibilities above. Inspection of parts to conform to print specifications. Material handling of parts to proper destination. Pay Rate: $23.50 EDUCATION:
EXPERIENCE: * 2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Experience working with sheet metal. SKILLS: * Ability to understand and follow written work instructions. * Basic knowledge of hand tools such as tape measure, wrenches, drills, etc.
* Ability to read from a schematic. * Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel. * Ability to pass a basic welding test prior to being hired. * Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn Parker business systems.
