About the Role

The Chicago Bears are looking for a Talent Acquisition Seasonal to assist the Human Resources department with various talent acquisition responsibilities. This position is designed for recent Human Resources graduates or candidates with less than one year of HR experience looking to gain professional experience in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring. This is a seasonal position, lasting 6 months (April - October 2025). The role will work primarily out of the Chicago Bears headquarters (1920 Football Drive, Lake Forest, IL) with some remote work flexibility. This is a full-time (40 hours per week), paid (hourly) position.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Assist with job postings on ADP (applicant tracking system)
  • Ensure accuracy of all job postings by reviewing key areas (responsibilities, qualifications, etc.) for consistency.
  • Participate in hiring manager meetings to ensure clear expectations for candidates and interviewers.
  • Support sourcing for various roles such as part-time/gameday, Training Camp and Associate Development Program
  • Send job alerts to university recruiting partners, external job sites (i.e. Handshake) and to candidates who signed up for future job notifications
  • Source talent for key roles via LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Assist with setting up and training hiring managers on all recruiting technology (i.e. ADP or VidCruiter)

Screening & Interview Coordination

  • Review resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
  • Send appropriate candidate notification via ADP (applicant tracking system)
  • Assist in configuring on-demand video platform (VidCruiter) features and functionalities for various roles within the organization
  • Send qualified candidates on demand interview requests
  • Participate in phone screenings to evaluate candidates' qualifications and interest in the position as necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Participate in in-person interviews.
  • Support proper documentation and retention of all resumes, candidate communication, interview notes, etc.

Administrative Support & Reporting

  • Help coordinate the Club's participation in local job fairs, attending as necessary.
  • Maintain recruiting related items such as giveaways, signage, etc.
  • Help maintain all recruiting & hiring related documents for internal and external use.
  • Respond to candidate inquiries via email and phone.
  • Help track and maintain recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, candidate conversion rates, etc.
  • Assist in organizing the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team, including organizing files and maintaining HR databases.
  • Help manage Job Opportunities email inbox.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field OR up to 1 year of experience in HR or Talent Acquisition
  • Previous internship or direct work experience with recruiting function preferred
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment tools (Handshake, LinkedIn, Indeed) preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to a variety of situations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills
  • Must understand the sensitive and confidential nature of the data within Human Resources

Competitive Industry Pay

The Talent Acquisition Seasonal is a full-time (temporary) position. This position is an HOURLY role. The expected hourly rate for this role is $19 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
